Ram 1500 Trucks

The leading 1500 Big Horn model (Lone Star in Texas) has the brand-new Uconnect 5 system as standard and features an 8.4-inch touchscreen. This infotainment system incorporates wireless connectivity, amplified Performance and Off-Road pages, tow-specific navigation, and software updates over a Wi-Fi connection. The base-level Tradesman gets the Uconnect 3 system with a 5-inch or a larger optional display.

The previous Limited trim is rebranded as the Limited 10th Anniversary Edition and features unique paint, badging, and interior appointments. The Longhorn SouthFork—previously called the Limited Longhorn—includes numerous components, such as a multi-function tailgate, deployable bed action, plus the Bed Utility set.

The Ram 1500 Big Horn models have one of the Hemi V8 engines, now offered with a BackCountry version, an outdoor-focused trim with Bed Utility and Off-Road options. There's also a brand-new G/T option with the 1500 Laramie and Rebel Crew Cab versions.

All standard for the new lineup, additional updates include the Clean Air filtration system, a trailer hitch light in the Trailer Tow set, as well as brand-new colors like Harvest Sunrise and Delmonico Red on select trims. A special (RED) Edition is offered for the 1500 Limited Crew Cab that partners with a charitable global health fund.

Ram 1500 TRX Trucks

Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty Trucks

A new color for the 2022 heavy-duty trucks is Harvest Sunrise, and as found in the light-duty Ram 1500, there's a standard 8.4-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreen on the Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 Big Horn trims or an available 12-inch display.

Big Horn trims also get an updated grille design, while the new Silver Edition offerings combine chrome exterior features and an interior with black accents. The 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty Limited models with black-trimmed interiors feature a new Black Onyx finish. Also new for the Ram Power Wagon is the Level 3 Equipment package adding an electric transfer case and convenience features, such as premium-grade upholstery and a Harman/Kardon sound system.

The Trailer Tow package now has a standard trailer-hitch light, and the "tow mode" is offered to include a digital rearview mirror. Additional Trailer 360 View offerings include a complete birds-eye perspective.

Ram ProMaster Vans

Of the two commercial offerings from Ram, the 2022 ProMaster van has an upgraded powertrain, new driver information displays, the latest Uconnect 5 technology, additional safety components, retuned steering, and additional seating configurations.

The ProMaster van's 3.6-liter V6 engine is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission segment-exclusive. A new ProMaster Crew Van configuration accommodates three passengers in the second row and has 18 customization offerings for mix-and-match height, wheelbase, and length.

A new 3.5-inch driver's data module, a 7-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen is now standard equipment, or an optional 7-inch and 10-inch Uconnect 5 display pairing. The ProMaster even has a 360-degree surround-view camera and digital rearview camera option.

Ram ProMaster City Vans

Since the ProMaster City is the smaller of the two commercial vans from Ram, it falls into the Class 1 compact van segment. Available as a two-seat cargo van or a five-passenger wagon, the new ProMaster City model comes standard with a color-coordinating front fascia and manual adjustments for the driver's seat height and lumbar. For safer driving at all times, the ProMaster City now includes standard daytime running lights, reversing sensors, and cruise control.
